Great piece. There’s so many twists and turns to the Argentine saga. Who knows how he will turn out. Most say right wing but that’s what they said about the lady in Italy and to my mins she turned out to be just another EU flack.
All the most recent right wingers in Latin America have been garden variety CIA military dictator types but of the suit brigade optic. Milei certainly fits the mold but so far not much evidence other than the extreme on media presence for an economist over the past 5 years. Very grooming like activity. Almost like his election was planned in advance.
Looks like Tusk in Poland and Wilders in Netherlands will be additional Melonis before it's all over. Politicians are all one stripe. Just different colors.

It's nothing personal towards him. I'm apolitical to nearly the point of anarchism. At least until we get to the point where all candidates aren't fully controlled. I look at all of them and see cartoon characters. Mostly evil ones but occasionally comic or quisling.
I look forward to seeing his role play out. From here it looked like cutting off aid to Ukraine was the big first up play. But he likely won't be needed for that as it's covered elsewhere, so it may be something else.

This could be good news. Instead of buying illicit small Arms and drugs from the Cartels now the folks in Boarder towns can skip the middle man and buy directly from the IDF. What a deal!
The destruction, conflagration, and recomposition of everything is in the crosshairs. The desperation and panic button pushing tells us so. Having some knowledge of the battlefield preps gives us a better chance at keeping up when the fan gets going!
