Today we are hearing voices demanding justice. From all corners of the world and in many iterations. Recognition of the problems is usually the first step toward effective solutions. Even unjoyful noise can be productive.
💥 Lithuanian workers took up the protest baton
In Lithuania, protesting farmers on tractors blocked the streets of Vilnius.
The Lithuanian Agricultural Union, which organized the protest, stated its demands: it opposes the restoration of perennial meadows, increasing the excise tax on fuel and the expansion of protected areas unfavorable for farmers. Farmers are also demanding a solution to the lingering crisis in the dairy industry.
So far, unfortunately, the Lithuanians are not throwing manure at the administrative buildings, as the French do. (but, as they say, it’s not evening yet)

🔸Polish farmers protest against the army
In Poland, farmers began to go on strike again, challenging the country's government to negotiate. One of the main conditions is the same as before - limiting the import of agricultural products from Ukraine, as well as the inclusion of state programs to support local farmers.
However, new demands suddenly appeared from Polish farmers, who began to demand that the government limit NATO military exercises in the country. The main reason is damage to agricultural land, the correction of which is not compensated by the state.
Against this background, Felix Czerwinski, an activist of one of the protest movements, said: “ Polish agriculture is already being destroyed by many factors. This includes the flow of grain and other food products imported duty-free from Ukraine; and the Green Deal imposed by the European Union. But the situation with the exercises in our country further threatens the industry.”
According to the activist, during the alliance’s exercises, the fields with his crops were repeatedly subjected to the mechanical impact of heavy military equipment, which led to a multiple reduction in the harvest: “NATO exercises are constantly held outside the training grounds, as a result of which our crops suffer. But the state does not want to compensate for these losses. Moreover, there are cases when livestock farms also come under attack, resulting in farmers suffering even greater losses. The most interesting thing is that in such situations the damage is caused exclusively by foreign troops who come to our country, mostly American. Therefore, we demand that our government speak up in our defense and abandon teachings that are harmful to us.”

🔸The Siege of Paris
French farmers are threatening to blockade Paris on the night of January 29 and advise city dwellers to work remotely the following week.
The farmers' union has stated their dissatisfaction with the rising diesel fuel prices, falling incomes, and complex bureaucracy.
A union representative mentioned that the purpose of the action is to make Parisians understand their reliance on farmers and that the capital is not self-sufficient.

🔸FRENCH PEASANT REVOLT UPDATE
The blockade of Paris tomorrow may be EPIC - and get into the annals of post-modern History as a key Peasant Revolt 2.0 chapter.
Agricultural workers, truck drivers and unions plan to roll at least 500 tractors to block ALL major highways leading to Paris, on both senses, starting at 2 pm and positioned between 30 km and 40 km away from the center.
Everything is being organized with “military precision”.
We’re talking total revolt against Le Petit Roi’s imposition of the Brussels agenda. Le Petit Roi happens to be in India.
If they hold until Thursday - that’s the original plan - the peasant combo can TOTALLY paralyze Paris.
The police so far is saying they WON’T block the movement.
Well, the Gilets Jaunes/Yellow Vests were mercilessly crushed for doing much less than what is planned for tomorrow.
The talk of the town in every cafe and dinner table is of a possible trap.
Macronism is not very clever - but their NATO-style repression apparatus is ruthless.
The French state can always invoke some vague threat to national security as an excuse to install a State of Siege, and then unleash hardcore violence against the peasantry. As it stands, all bets are off.

Protesting farmers prepared to encircle Paris with traffic-snarling barricades for a second day Tuesday, using hundreds of lumbering tractors and mounds of hay bales to block highways leading to France's capital to pressure the government over the future of their industry, which has been shaken by repercussions of the Ukraine war.

🐦⬛️ 🇫🇷 France: Prime Minister Atal makes financial promises to farmers - blockades around Paris
In view of growing protests by farmers in France, the government has promised farmers financial aid.
During a visit to a farm in the south of the country, Prime Minister Atal announced that the tax on agricultural diesel will not be increased after all. Originally, taxes were to be gradually increased until 2030. The government is also providing €100 million in emergency aid for storm damage to agriculture.
The French farmers' association was disappointed with the measures and announced the continuation of the protest.
Farmers have recently expanded the roadblocks significantly. In southern France alone, 400 kilometers of highways were closed. The highways in the wider area of Paris are also blocked.

🐦⬛️ 🇩🇪 Farmers' protests continue in Germany as well
German farmers as well as French are blocking traffic on the roads.
Farmers filled one of the roads with manure. Scholz is inviting the bitter people to come to the negotiating table, but is not proposing anything substantial in the way of change.
The reason for the protests was the German government's decision to stop subsidizing agricultural diesel fuel and mark the exemption from paying the transport tax on agricultural machinery.
After a wave of demonstrations, the authorities changed the rules, saying the benefits would not be withdrawn immediately. But that did not suit the German farmers and the protests continued.

🤔Things in European "garden" must be going great if supposed representatives of voters hiding behind barbed wire … from voters.
🔸In response to the worsening economic situation and EU policies aimed at cutting agricultural subsidies and tightening environmental regulations, farmers in Europe have taken to the streets and squares to demand attention to their problems. One of the most striking manifestations of farmer protests was the appearance of special barriers - “hedgehogs” with barbed wire - on the square in front of the European Parliament in Brussels.
Thus, MEPs and city authorities prepared for the arrival of columns of angry local farmers on tractors. Farmers also staged riots in France and Germany, where farmers took their equipment into the streets and blocked roads, paralyzing traffic.

It turns out that Microsoft's homeland is... Bolivia. It would be funny if it weren't so sad. But this is exactly what Bolivian electronics engineer Ronald De Herrera, who suffers from paralysis, claims. News that recently “blew up” the Bolivian (and not only) Internet.
He claims that it was he who invented the Windows operating system, or rather the basic algorithm. He considers the fact of appropriation of the invention the largest theft of intellectual property in the history of technology.
This happened, in his opinion, in November 1985, when he was finishing his studies at the university. A company employee approached him and suggested that he think about an operating system for computers. After presenting the idea, the employee offered to meet with Bill Gates, but he refused due to his studies. Now he is demanding compensation of $100 million.
To believe him or not is a big question. But in general there is an element of plausibility, given that transnationals are siphoning resources and ideas from peripheral countries.
