Probably the number 1 rule in effecting a coup is be sure you have enough guys with guns. Who knows exactly why any of these things happen. Probably for a combination of a lot of reasons. I know there was a thought at the time of the Russian situation that he thought there would be more help than actually turned out.

The thought that it was stoked to bump popularity is an interesting one. It’s still hard to escape the BRICS and lithium angle. A lot of great pictures though so thanks for that.

I was still on the fence when it was just the general saying that. But, like, every Latin American outlet reported on it and almost all of them call it for political chicanery. They know Luis Arce and I don't. If they can all believe it of him, that carries significant weight. Plus XF predicted it! Tiebreaker.

The Russians, I think, are busy using this "crisis" (and will use every subsequent one) to score points against the US/West. They may or may not when the news is eclipsed join in. We'll see.

But it's a fun story for a change of pace. Likely not going to see as many of those sooner than later.

Well Karen, it more then less makes sense now. The maps and videos helped also.

One of the rules of thumb amongst Dictators and mercenaries is " When thing are going too smoothly, stir shit up!"

If the people are comfortable they may think they don't need a Dictator, or an Army.

The lithium may be the key. Boston Dynamics needs lithium for its robots.

Now much better than ever these robots can be armed with some pretty heavy weapons.

Lithium will be needed for the hot market in killer drones ,so widely used in Ukraine.

While we've not got the technology for a

T-111 killer robot today, it's not far off.

Whit any luck cheesy sun glasses and robots riding Harley Davidsons will be in style by autumn 🍂

Among many other "distant projections." Or we may only be getting news snippets of them in the RIC. Toss up for now. But this movie will not disappoint on being boring!
