Informative piece detailing the players. It’s kind of funny how the same entities keep showing up in all the hotspots. As always the people suffer, then the conflict moves elsewhere. Rinse and repeat.

That's definitely oftentimes true. Unlike Gaza there's no evidence of any kind to base a genuine broad theory on here. Although I have my suspicions as usual. But what we do have is the NGO microphone going all out monotone and the alliance partners to give us clues. You take the data you get. Then the media parrots of the world unite!

There's a big one (world) to cast a spell on. Usually in these situations no one is taking the opposite tack. That's my job. Sometimes the path is through the mist. But occasionally it is actually around it.

Thanks for not forgetting black people.

I'm not forgetting anyone around the world in a US target scope. But sort of pointing out without saying so that the journalists getting killed by Israelis (Al Jazeera mostly) in Gaza might consider looking into Sudan. Literally no one is covering this war firsthand. All we get is NGO-speak reprints and even those are quarterly on average. Makes it easier to "forget". I'm fairly certain for myself that the usual US Imperialists are again meddling to save face in another impending big loss for them.

Truly glad you're giving it attention. I worry that the Congo and Ethiopia become hotter spots.

There are a myriad of problems in a great deal of Africa. Libya, Chad, Somalia as well just in that same neighborhood. Congo and Rwanda have militant rebel issues too. In addition to our Sahel coup trio - Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger. You know who isn't having any problems like those? Gabon. Imagine that. I try to put a little light on the fights in those, too. But good information is hard to find and not regularly timed. Narrative warfare to the max.

I did a bit on Mali but world catastrophes overwhelm me. My original goal was Ukraine, and I need to get back to that. Consequently, I'm supportive of those doing what I wish I was doing.

Couldn't get the time to watch before now. Pretty much what I expected from DW. They produce an excellent piece every once in a while, though. Pretty formulaic; blame it on "militant groups". Without ever a syllable that attributes those to the intelligence operations of the countries who always either want to take over or create chaos. While I believe Germany is probably not (much) directly involved in that sleaziness, all their best friends are. I did mention Cameroon (and Rwanda) apparently coup proofing themselves after Gabon. But haven't looked much in depth for specifics on either. But they're on my potential coup attempt list, just closer to the bottom than top.

Instability elsewhere is always reason to create instability at home. This will be an era of small wars. DW obviously have bias regarding some topics like Ukraine but there doesn't seem to be a set neocon theme to the whole channel. Some documentaries are handy.
